CWA were appointed in 2005 to remodel a mews home in the Bayswater Conservation Area.
The scope of works, to include full demolition, was predicated on a design derived from a naturally lit circulation core to the rear of the building.
Overcoming the inherent light restrictions of the single aspect building, CWA have transformed the mews, conveying an unruffled atmosphere with a pale colour palette, based on accents and ambiences created by polished plaster and limestone, accentuated graphically by long horizontal roof lights and a precisely detailed staircase.
