Dolphin Reinvented

The Dolphin is a 46,000sqft new build residential scheme sited two miles north of Walsall town centre in a semi rural location. The site occupies the site of the former Dolphin public house which was destroyed by fire in 2007.

This project proposes 39 apartments flanking a garden square to the south and east, above a shared semi basement car park, 

Following Wallsall Council's critique of the original scheme, the client has asked CWA to investigate the design of a class C2 residential care home on the site.

The 1,725sq.m proposed mixed-use development incorporates a large amount of garden amenity space.

The Dolphin is in pre-planning stages.
